Jack was a great guy that I enjoyed having in my elementary classes at West Birdville.  I remeber then how well he could sing.  He was always one of the winners at the talent show, and all the pretty girls would sing duets with him.  When we got to HJH is began to excell in music and other areas.  Jack was really smart and always fun to be around.

I dated Jack for awhile my sophmore year.  Our first "date" was to the Talent Show at Haltom Jr High. He was very talented....singer and trumpet player!   I was unaware of his passing.  Always sad to lose a friend.

When I think of Jack, it brings a smile to my face!  I can not remember the occasion, but he and I went to a dance of some sort where we got large boxes and painted them white and I cut out a black club or spade with numbers and made each us to be a "playing card".  We each wore a black turtle neck with long sleeves and black tights!  I had no problem with the tights due to having them anyway with twirling and all, - but Jack, he had issues!??.  It was so much fun, I will always remember that!  Wish I had pictures!   Yes, he was talented,  kind and such a neat guy!

I did not know Jack had passed away, He was clearly one of the most talented members of our class. And one who always caught the girls' eyes which I also envied. What a great guy. Another reminder to live every day like it is our last.
